Wedding weekend

We went to a good friend's wedding this past weekend and had a blast!! Ava and Lola LOVE staying in hotels so we made it a little vacation. They both also LOVE LOVE LOVE brides and weddings, so we had the perfect weekend planned and I brought my camera to document everything. And............I forgot it in the great hotel room during the wedding and reception. The picture above is the only photo I have from the weekend: Elinor laying in bed after her first time in a swimming pool. Isn't she cute? I love how her leg rolls pop out of the suit.

Since I didn't get any photos, I'll recap it all..... The girls wanted to wear their white dresses, just like the bride (which they called the princess) and looked too cute for words. They thought it was so cool that the prince (the groom) sang to his princess during the ceremony (so did I~~he's an amazing singer!). Ava made tons of little friends at the reception and danced the night away with them (two of which were boys, giving Jeff a mini heart attack when I told him this was only the beginning....). We called it quits at 9 pm, not because the girls were tired, but because Jeff and I were pooped!! Ava would have closed down the party if we let her. She had to go around to all of her new friends and say goodbye. I have NO CLUE when she got to be such a social butterfly! :)

All in all, it was a great weekend. The girls did great in the car (for the 3 1/2 hr trip) and slept all night. And Jeff let me shop a little! Fun was had by all. :)
